Flexomount Solid Printing Tape
411, 412, 413, 414, 447
Provides maximum firmness and high density for uniform coverage of solid ink areas when the halftone dot reproduction is not at all critical. This tape helps minimize pinholing in solid coverage areas and reduces edge lifting. An industry standard for both rubber and photopolymer plates.
Cushion Mount Solid Printing Tape
929, 933, 939, 949
Foam carrier instead of vinyl to help reduce cylinder bounce and deliver results similar to Flexomount tape. Excellent for solid or bold line work.


Cushion Mount Plus Firm Combination Printing Tape
1815, 1820
When the plate contains both solid and halftone information but solids dominate the surface area. This is 3M's most widely used tape.
Cushion Mount Plus Standard Combination Printing Tape
1015, 1020, 1040, 1060
For when solid and halftone are as are of equal importance and you don’t want to sacrifice either.


Cushion Mount Plus Soft Combination Printing Tape
1915, 1920
Improves tonal reproduction when process and halftone images predominate.

Cushion Mount Process Printing Tape
1115, 1120
Low density that maximizes dot reproduction and is well suited for high quality process work.

Primer Dauber
3M Tape Primer 94 can be applied under the lead and trailing edge of a photopolymer plate to hold the plate down on press when plate edge lifting is a problem.
Jet Melt Adhesives
These adhesives may be used as a barrier to help prevent plate lifting caused by inks or solvents penetrating beneath the tape and plate.
Aluminum Foil Tape and Polyester Film Tape
These tapes may be used as a barrier to help prevent plate lifting caused by inks or solvents penetrating beneath the tape and plate.
Adhesive Transfer Tape
When print jobs contain both solid and tonal reproduction on the same plate, solid ink density can be enhanced by using 3M 465 (2mil) adhesive transfer tape under the solid imaged print area of the plate.
Fastbond Contact Adhesive
3M Fastbond™ 30-NF Contact Adhesive increases the amount of adhesion of mounting tapes to rubber plates. It's available in neutral or green.
Scotch Magic Tape
Adheres proofing paper to a proofer/mounter with a good amount of adhesion yet easy to remove.
